Welcome to the website for the Regional Conference on Higher Education-industry-Community Engagement: Forging Meaningful Partnerships across Asia organised by AsiaEngage, that will take place at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM or The National University of Malaysia), Malaysia from the 7th of May 2012 until the 9th of May 2012.

This conference is held at a crucial time where the growing number of universities across ASEAN and Asia needs to be community engaged in order to support and enhance the development of sustainable communities across the region. This is to ensure that the needs of the present generation are met; while uncompromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, allowing each person the opportunity to develop in freedom, within a well-balanced society and in harmony with their surroundings.

By enabling the sharing of best practices, hearing keynote speeches from field experts and setting up policies and guidelines that can make this possible, this conference serves to meet specific objectives that will promote university-industry-community engagement and social responsibility programmes that
are designed through strategic collaborative efforts.
